This illustration was created during a Natural Science Drawing class and drawn from a reference photo. It is my first illustration using Scratchbord as well as my first serious attempt at drawing birds in general. I thoroughly enjoy the texture Scratchbord brings forward, and I plan to incorporate it into more of my future illustrations!
