Show Me Where It Hurts

Inspired by Imogen Cunningham, this black-and-white photography collection explores the raw, often hidden aspects of human experience. I aimed to capture both public and private societal struggles, including physical ailments, infertility, inflation, and divorce. Through intimate imagery, I sought to evoke empathy and understanding, inviting viewers to confront the discomfort and complexities that shape our lives.

I captured these photos with a Canon Rebel T7 and edited them in Adobe Lightroom.

Sunset on High Pass

During the summer of 2023, I enrolled in an online photography class, and one of our assignments required capturing lighting at different hours. Initially, I attempted to shoot golden hour photos by the Eugene Airport, but I suddenly felt an instinct to capture images on a road I've driven many times: High Pass. I trusted my instinct and captured these golden wonders.

These photos were shot on a Canon Rebel T7 and edited in Adobe Lightroom.
